AndESLive™ - Andes ESL Integrated Virtual Environment, includes SoC builder, models of CPU, peripherals, bus, and external devices, like LCD panel, audio speaker, and so on. Through perfectly connecting with AndESLive™, users can go from simulation to prototyping for SoC with minimal or no time spent characterizing physical evaluation boards. The whole environment provides the flexibility for users to evaluate SoC configuration and performance to meet the requirements of the whole system.

Performance is critical in embedded system development. Software execution, bus traffic, and memory access are the general considerations regarding the performance. AndeSight™ provides comprehensive profiling analysis for software execution to investigate the performance bottleneck.

If functions or program segments get unexpected results, users can easily link to the corresponding source code from profiling views to find out the problems. Modifying the source code and re-running the profiling analysis is an approach to get the better or best software performance.
To tune the system performance, users can also run target software on AndeScore™ with different configurations, such as cache sizes.

Target Management

AndeSight™ allows Andes application executables to run on a simulator or a real board. The simulators or real boards, referred to as targets, are generally available on different places but within a LAN environment to allow easy sharing among all users. AndeSight™ provides Target Management to query all simulators and real boards automatically. This saves users’ efforts on setting up targets.
